SPECIAL RELAXED PERFOMANCE TO URINETOWN ON OFFER. AN AMAZING CONCEPT:
WHAT IS A RELAXED PERFORMANCE:
Relaxed performances are for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. This
can include, but is not limited to, people with autism, sensory sensitivities, Tourette’s syndrome,
learning disabilities or dementia, as well as people living with anxiety or people who have
experienced trauma.
For this performance:
– the lights, sound, and stagecraft will be augmented for a softer, smoother viewing experience.
– typical expectations around behaviour within the theatre will be altered, so audience members
may walk around, come and go as they please, and be able to engage in calming activities
such as rocking, humming, stimming, and the like.
– the Chapel Off Chapel staff will be on hand to direct any patrons to our quiet space where they
may take a moment in private and return to the performance as they wish.
– the theatre doors will remain open; and the house lights remain on, but dimmer, throughout the
performance.
– haze effects will be lessened
