ANASTASIA, the romantic and adventure-filled hit musical inspired by the beloved film, is coming to Melbourne this December!
Rising star of stage and screen Georgina Hopson (Titanique, Phantom of the Opera) will lead the cast. The Green Room Award winner and Sydney Theatre Award nominee will play Anya, a brave young woman on a journey to discover the mystery of her past. Joined by a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.
Joining Georgina Hopson is international stage sensation Robert Tripolino (Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar) as the dashing conman Dmitry and Joshua Robson (The Phantom of the Opera) as Gleb, an army officer determined to silence her.
Iconic Australian performer Rodney Dobson (Beauty and the Beast, CHICAGO) stars as the loveable ex-aristocrat Vlad, with showbiz legend Rhonda Burchmore as his former lover, Countess Lily. Australian theatre royalty Nancye Hayes AM joins the cast as the Dowager Empress, celebrating over 60 years starring in major musicals.
